Eee, I'm glad you like! I feel like Sheppard as a woman would be pretty butch, and McKay seems like she'd be neither particularly masculine nor particularly feminine, matter-of-fact, a scientist preoccupied with her work. I was a little worried Sheppard was too butch, but I guess it's not a big deal after all.

Haha, I'm the only one crushing on girl!Rodney here. :3 I don't know, I think she looks like a girl I'd want to get to know.

Psh, "too" butch? :p There is such a thing? (Well, I suppose if it feels fake . . . oh, probably not the time for a lengthy discussion of performed gender roles and lesbian culture.)

Haha, I'm the only one crushing on girl!Rodney here

No no no, that's actually not true, and I was even going to come back and comment again! See, Rodney/Meredith looks like the kind of girl I fall for. Sheppard looks like the kind of girl I'd stare at from afar and lust over, but never have the guts to approach . . . and I probably wouldn't get along with her very well anyway. (A little younger, and they could both be attending my alma mater, where I would--and did--react in exactly this sort of way.)

Oh, no, I meant "too butch" in the sense that I was worried she looked too much like male!John wearing falsies. I think female!John here has a little bit of androgyny going on, but I didn't want it to tip into looking like male!John in semi-drag, which is a somewhat different kink.

Actually, yeah, that's how I feel about the both of them too. :3

Nope! Clearly female. ^^ She should have some androgyny, I think (frankly, I think boy!John has a subtle touch of it as well), but my town and former campus feature many women who look much like her.

Can't wait for Ronon! Given any thought to a boy!Teyla, by any chance? (That was the one that totally stumped me, when I was trying to do Ardhanishvara fanart.)

I have given it a try, but it's totally stumping me too. I think I'd either have to do a fairly dramatic restructuring of her face or make her an extremely pretty man. Whenever I try to draw her I feel like she comes out looking like a character in some yaoi manga.
