[livejournal.com profile] sgatlantislight wrote a fic inspired by my last picture! BWEE! \o/

(In other news, my mom is sending me mooncakes--probably four, as usual. Does anyone want one? I ended up with two extra last year that I couldn't give away, and I had to throw them out.)

Man, make [livejournal.com profile] paper_tzipporah have one. So I can enjoy the mooncake experience vicariously through her.

I should really figure out how to get to Chinatown. I've only been going to school in Boston for TWO YEARS, geez. (But Chinatown is scary. But they have Chinese candy. And other shiny things. DILEMMA.)

You know, I feel SO BAD about the last set of mooncakes? Because they were the lotus seed ones, the really luxurious and expensive ones. D: I feel so guilty, but I just couldn't eat them all by myself before they went bad.

Chinatown's not scary! Why's it scary?

(I LOOKED UP THE PRICE OF THOSE MOONCAKES OH MY GOD I AM SUCH AN AWFUL HUMAN BEING)

God, I really should've just given them to the scroungers! Except: too weird?

Pfft, my parents are smart, they wouldn't spend that much money on mooncakes.

OH MY GOD YES THEY WOULD *cries*

Ahahahaha. I would have talked back but I had to watch a movie about people killing themselves and then go to work. I didn't even get to watch the damn suicides because I had to leave to get to work on time. If only they had stopped crying and whining and being artsy and just gotten on with it.

Moon cakes . . . mmm . . .

Also, Chinatown is just scary because there are lots of people. Also it's not very safe after dark. Or at least it wasn't when I was eight and my mother's telling me to stick close by her has stayed with me ever since.

PS If I manage to send something to ye olde [livejournal.com profile] paper_tzipporah, you want me to include a DVD-R with Wilby Wonderful on it? BECAUSE I TOTALLY CAN.

Suicides!?!?

Aww, I like Chinatown! I've never been after dark because I've never lived very close to one (we always have to make a special trip just to get to ours) but it's not so bad in the day, especially if you have friends. I mean. This is LA's Chinatown but I bet it's not much different where you are?

ALSO, I WOULD LOVE YOU FOREVER IF YOU SEND ME WILBY WONDERFUL <3 <3 <3

You guys don't change campus mailing addresses year to year, do you? 'Cos I have the one for Miss J from about freshman year but I don't think I've updated it since then. I may get around to sending something in like, the next month. I AM SO BAD AT REMEMBERING TO GO TO THE POST OFFICE IT IS TERRIBLE. Plus I have to find the discs. XD

Um, the movie was this weird artsy version with artsiness of Chikamatsu's Love Suicides at Anijima, which was translated as Double Suicide when released on film in the U.S. and it's supposed to be a bunraku (puppet play) but they did it live action and it's all . . . yeah I was kind of wishing they'd just kill themselves already. I mean, it was actually pretty cool. But I needed to get to work. And they were still angsting. If I'd had like fifteen more minutes I think we would have been done, but there just wasn't time. Oh well.

Oh, no, we don't change our box numbers. I mean, unless she specifically changed it. :)

Oh, good. I should probably check with her anyway, just in case. Dammit, I'm going to have to COMMUNICATE. *cries*

PS I NEED A GUN SO I CAN SHOOT THE ASSHOLES SCREAMING OUT IN THE QUAD I KNOW IT'S LIKE MIDNIGHT OVER BY YOU BUT HERE IT IS THREE IN THE MORNING AND THEY ALL NEED TO SHUT UP OR DIE. Are there any Wraith stunner handy do you think? I'd actually prefer not to kill anyone. But if they were paralyzed for a few hours or something . . .

Oh my god, one time this well-intentioned guy set up a sound system right outside my dorm windows, on the side my room faces, and ecouraged people to hook up their computers or iPods to it to spread their music, right? Seems like a good idea? (And it was, for most of the day!)

NOT AT ONE IN THE MORNING, NO, IT ISN'T. D:

People attending "higher education" institutions =/= people with common sense.

It took me a few weeks to figure that one out.

Also it's almost 4 a.m. so I'm going to bed now. Really. Honest.

We can comment spam tomorrow or something. Maybe in a random one of [livejournal.com profile] paper_tzipporah's entries. Just for kicks.

What's a mooncake?

You should come over this weekend and watch TV with us. I know I said that about last weekend, but then I got lazy and we didn't clean house. ;)

They're a Chinese pastry eaten during the Moon Festival. They are pretty tasty, actually, especially if you don't like over-sweet things, but they're also very dense and rich. Apparently a whole one is 800 kcal? D:

I keep telling you, a messy house is no problem! :) When's a good time for you? (Sunday is best for me, but Saturday morning or afternoon also work!)

Sunday, then! We have.... everything fannish you could possibly ever want to watch, EVER (true!) but you could also bring something if you want to. What time is good for you? Eleven-ish?

Do you... do you guys have Wilby Wonderful? I've been wanting to see that for ages!

Elevenish is a good time! Then, just email me your address, I guess, and I will look up directions on trimet.

Okay, you caught me out in my terrible lie. We don't have everything, so no Wilby Wonderful. :(

I will e-mail you our address now.

Received! And yes, I have her phone number. (I'm actually not sure if I'll be going by bus or if my friend can give me a ride, so, er, I'll call on Sunday!)

Wow! A story to go with your picture! That is awesome! Also, I never would have thought of it which is bizarre because people do pictures to go with stories, i.e. the other way round, all the time.
