ORCHESTRA AU!

ALL-GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL AU!

My prompt was: Total AU (Contemporary setting-- no Stargate, no Atlantis, but the characters exist and meet each other anyway)

I also wanted to do an equestrian AU and a gardening AU and a pop star AU but ran out of time. I'll see if I can get another done tomorrow morning; if not, well.

Oh! These are gorgeous. I just adore the way you draw figures (like real women -- beautiful and expressive without being overly idealized). And hands (ditto)! But the faces in these are the best parts. So very recognizable.

That's sweet. I like Teyla's smile in the second one. Is this a general community for fem-centric fic/art or is this for a specific challenge? It's nice to see a focus on the women of Stargate.

It's a challenge, and sign-ups have already ended, unfortunately. I really miss drawing women--usually I'm an m/m slasher, so there isn't much opportunity for drawing fanart with women in it, so this was a lot of fun. ♥ I'm glad you like it!

Ooh, those are gorgeous. I love everything about them, down to the clothing choices you made for the first piece. And, I'm in awe of your ability to capture the characters'/actors' faces. I have so much trouble with that.

The flat coloring is really pretty, too.

I meant to comment on this a long time ago. But anyways, I really love your artwork. In this particular installment I like Sora's expression in the first one, especially the eyes (eyebrow, eyelashes, and that fine little crease). And there is the whole OMG!Catholic!schoolgirls! factor. YUM.

Catholic schoolgirls have no more glitz for me because I went to a Catholic high school, but I do remember the *cough* being overly affectionate that went on within the walls of my dear school! And I could definitely see Teyla and Sora as schoolgirls together, BFF, the whole works.

I'm so, so glad you like Sora's face in the first one. (I'm secretly quite proud of it!)
