Cowboy!Sheppard was inspired by
pentapus's suggestion and
trinityofone's
A Rush and a Push and the Land Is Ours. I ended up going off in a slightly different direction, but
trinityofone's story is fantastic and I highly recommend it if you haven't already read it.

And. It is entirely possible that I'm making shit up, but the way the flames are licking upwards in seperate tongues and the logs are arranged around it, the overall shape makes me think of Atlantis. I have no idea if that was intentional, but it's really, really cool.

I also like the color work and how the fire looks a little bit like Atlantis (though I'm nutty like that).

Oh that makes me think of Montgomery Clift in Red River and that, my friend, is a *very* good thing :)

Okay, now I have to resist printing this out and showing it to everyone in the office, because they will look at me oddly. But maybe I can still print it out...
You're incredible.

The coloring is great and the flames are sort of pretty.
Thanks for sharing!

It's very beautiful. I like the stubble and the frowny eyebrows.

Which is a very rambly way of saying: yes, yes, anything you want to draw for or near me would be wonderful. *g* And I really did print out cowboy John and hang him on my wall.

(Ditto for that scene you drew with the team picnicking!)
