It looks like one of those days when the sun is quite low in the sky but surprisingly bright between long shadows, and everything looks a little more real and *present* than you expected it to.

(I'm pausing to gaze foolishly as I write)

I love Teyla's posture (thighs *and* dignity, honestly!), and the way Rodney looks as if he's actually in the moment and not worrying about which chef is on and that thing Simpson was threatening to do earlier that morning (or does he just want someone else to try the fruit first?!). I think they're on the mainland, because John would never doze through the gate and aren't alien planets fantastic with blossom and fruit and half-turned leaves together and that tree is making me dribble on the keyboard.
